Duties: |
Responsible for business development and fundraising. Revenue budget of about $4 million. Specific responsibilities included:
• Planning and budgeting for Division.
• Recruitment into Division.
• Staff Training
• Efficiency and effectiveness of Divisional operations.
• Liaison, negotiation, planning and communications with other Spastic Societies nationally.
• Miss Australia Quest Victorian Division. |
Achievements: |
• Increased Divisional revenues by about one third.
• Undertook detailed market segmentation analysis of "Home Bank" product leading to lower unit costs and better use of existing resources.
• Managed the public interface for the Miss Australia Quest at a time when public and radical opinion was both strong, and in some cases, violent, against the Quest.
• Re-structured field staff incentive program leading to increase in revenues of about 25% and greatly increased morale.
• Achieved a zero staff-loss ratio for period.
• Rationalised non-productive projects and non-value adding activities. |
